Human-Centered Systems (HCS)
The research aim of this division is to study and improve the interaction between individuals, computer systems and information resources. Human characteristics and abilities form both point of departure and goal in this endeavour. Important areas of research are natural language interaction, knowledge based systems, computer support for learning, information management and introduction of new technology in organizations.
The division is responsible for courses in cognitive science, human-computer interaction, language technology and knowledge based systems.
